Angelica

Angelica is dressed in light. The halter blouse is hand-embroidered with rays of sequin and beadwork that fan out from the collar like a sunburst, and below it a shimmer satin skirt drapes and cascades in soft folds down one side. The palette holds to champagne and gold, tonal, warm, and immensely flattering under candles and fairy lights, which is to say at every sangeet ever thrown. This is an indo-western set with a saree's soul: the draped skirt gives you the fall of a drape with none of the maintenance, and the cropped halter brings the modern line.
